Michael Valenzuela
Professor Valenzuela is an international leader in healthy brain ageing science, policy and biotech translation. He is primary inventor of the HFN technology and Scientific Co-Founder of Skin2Neuron. He is also Visiting Professor at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing, Medicine, UNSW, and formerly Professor of Regenerative Medicine at the University of Sydney. He is an expert advisor to the World Health Organization on healthy ageing and to the International Federation of Ageing. Apart from scientific publications spanning stem cell biology, neuroimaging, clinical trials and dementia epidemiology, he is author of a popular science book (Maintain Your Brain), app developer, member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and frequent media communicator.
