Emily Blyth
Associate Professor Blyth is a haematologist, blood stem cell transplanter, cell therapy physician and clinician scientist. Her research interests are in the use of cellular therapy to improve quality of life and survival in patients with blood cancers and those undergoing blood stem cell transplantation.
She is the Clinical Lead for Immune Effector Cells at Westmead Hospital in NSW and the Deputy Director of the Westmead T Cell Therapies Program at Westmead Institute for Medical Research at the University of Sydney. Clinical trials conducted from Westmead have treated hundreds of patients with locally manufactured cell therapy products.
