Presentation 1: The National Training Masterfile for Australian Tissue Banks

Presenter: Marisa Herson - Honorary Associate Professor in Bioethics and Professionalism - School of Medicine - Deakin University, Geelong, Australia

Description: This presentation describes the background, objectives and outcomes of the BAA Project towards the establishment of The National Training Master File for Australian Tissue Banks (TMF).

The content of each of its three components will be explained: the modular learning resource, the Role and Role-related Matrix and the Training and Competency Requirements Matrix. Also, what would be the “in house” steps if the TMF were to be implemented.
